Brøckhouse
In 1995 civil engineer Allan Poulsen started brewing beer in the basement of his house with the best fresh ingredients and according to old traditions. In 2003 his hobby became his livelihood. He gave up his regular job and started the Brøckhouse micro brewery in Hillerød because of a growing demand.
The brew master gets his inspiration mainly from British and Belgian beers and today the brewery has grown to employ elleven and distribution is directly to supermarkets, specialized shops, cafés and bars.

Wiibroe Haandværksbryggeri
A long-standing wish came true on 1 May 2007 when the gates to the historic Wibroe's new baby were opened: Håndværksbryggeriet Wibroe. Wibroes Brewery was originally founded in 1840 and has since then supplied the town of Elsinor and the northern part of Sealand with beer. In 1998 the production was, however, merged with Carlsberg in Valby. Now a colaboration between the Skibsklarerergaarden Museum and Wibroe has resulted in a local brewery.

Musikbryggeriet daCAPO
During the summer of 2005, Henrik Lykkegaard started this brewery, which got its odd name (the Music Brewery) because he and his investors shared a common musical background. Several of them form part of the brass orchestra 'DaCapo', which in the world of beer means 'one more, please' or 'start again'. Henrik is brew master and the brewery is a former British pub brewery - the result is beers not too common on the Danish market and always interesting.

Ølfabrikken
Two friends, Martin Sønderkær Larsen and Christian Skovdal Andersen, started a small brewery in 2004 on a small farm in North Sealand. They have now moved to Roskilde but the beers they produce are still inspired by American, British and Belgian beer, and owing to the unusual and uncompromising brewing methods used at the Ølfabrikken, the products have gained understandable respect on the Danish market.
All beers go through secondary fermenation in the bottle or in the tank, and it is the only brewery in Europe to also preferment the beer without temperature control. All brewing processes are manual and follow age old methods, and the beer is sold unfiltered and unpasteurized to achieve the best taste.
