For several years we have had the pleasure of welcoming Christmas cruises at Langelinie Pier in Copenhagen. Your cruise guests will experience a grand welcoming from the people of Copenhagen, Santa Claus and the Elsinore Christmas Marching Guard.
Copenhagen is beautiful during Christmas and the Winter months. Buildings and shops are lit up by thousands of lights all over the city and especially Kongens Nytorv (The Kings Square) and Tivoli Gardens, both in the heart of the city, are breathtaking experiences for cruise passengers. Christmas markets are found all over the city, big and small, and they all portray the best of the Danish Christmas tradition.
More things to do in Copenhagen
Public outdoor skating has become popular in Copenhagen. You can bring your own skates, in which case it is free, or you can rent them on the spot for approximately DKK 50.
Many city churches have special Christmas concerts with classical choir music as well as more popular and traditional concerts with Danish, Latin and English carols. St. Alban's Church, known as the English Church, will also be open to visitors during Christmas. The English Church is only a few minutes away from Langelinie Pier.
