Newly expanded Copenhagen International Airport is the primary hub for SAS Scandinavian Airlines, the flagship carrier to Scandinavia. SAS, its Star Alliance partners and many other air carriers provide daily non-stop and direct service to Copenhagen from gateway cities throughout the world.

For SAS timetables and reservations, visit: www.flysas.com

From the airport to the city center
The airport train, located in Terminal 3, will whisk you to the city center in a mere 12 minutes. (Remember to leave plenty of time before your return flight for duty-free shopping at the airport's many boutiques!)

In September 2007 the Metro expanded to include Copenhagen airport. The Metro is located 50 meters from the arrival hall and runs from the airport to the city center every 4 minutes. The Metro will take you to Nørreport Station in the heart of the city. From Nørreport Station there are plenty of bus and train services to make an easy transfer to your destination in Copenhagen.

Taxis are available outside the arrivals areas in Terminals 1 and 3. (At Terminal 3 you will also find taxis that accept fares to Sweden, across the Øresund Fixed Link bridge.) Taxi fares include VAT and tips, and you can normally pay by credit card.
