Copenhagen will host the World Outgames from July 25 to August 1. The World Outgames is a sports, cultural and human rights event primarily for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals. It will be the largest international sports and cultural event ever held on Danish soil, with 8,000 people from all corners of the world expected to participate. As a warm-up for the Outgames 2009, Copenhagen Mermates welcomes all swimmers to a fun-packed weekend of swimming, cultural and social events. From June 22nd - 24th 2007 Copenhagen Mermates will host - for the third time - cph*2007 International Swim Meet. The first one took place in 2002 and gathered 150 swimmers from all over Europe.
