Bakken, to pigerDyrehavsbakken
...also known just as Bakken is situtated north of Copenhagen, no more than a twenty minute train ride from the Central Station to Klampenborg.  This is the world's oldest amusement park, surrounded by Dyrehaven a wooded area with grazing deer. Here there are merry-go-rounds, a large roller coaster, the Italian commedia d'el Arte character Pierrot entertains the children, there are also many restaurants, live music and large draught beers. A popular summer spot, open from the beginning of April to the end of August.

Tivoli - BallongyngeTivoli
Few minutes walk from the City Hall Square in the centre of Copenhagen, you will find Tivoli, no doubt among the top ten attractions in Copenhagen.  Traditions in the form of an original pantomime theatre dating back to 1874, and brand new thrilling rides such as The Deamon a three-loop roller coaster, The Golden Tower with a fabulous view and a very fast drop! The Monsoon - may the G-force be with you! and many more. Old and young alike will find entertainment - rock concerts every Friday on the open air stage and classical music, ballet and international performances at the Tivoli Concert Hall with a gigantic aquarium forming the back wall of the foyer.  Tivoli is unique, old, traidtional as well as new and innovative.

Zoo flodhestCopenhagen Zoo
In the Copenhagen district of Frederiksberg you'll find the Copenhagen Zoo. Wild animals, Tropical Zoo, Elephants, girafs, and a children's zoo with animals to pet and a large rabbit hill, you can crawl into. There's a fine view over Copenhagen from the wooden Zoo Tower modeled after the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Fælledparken
This is the name of the extensive grounds by the National Football Arena, PARKEN. In one sunny part of the area you can sit down for a game of chess, at the Pavillion there is dance music during the summer months, people use the area for jogging, sunbathing and the annual Carnival with samba, salsa and latin inspired rhythms takes place here as does the workers' First of May celebrations with political speeches and red flags.
