Caritas Fountain:
On royal birthdays (16/4 - 26/5 - 11/6 and Constitution Day 5/6) this Renaissance fountain from 1663 sprays golden apples. The fountain is located at Gammel Torv.

The Changing of the Royal Guard:
The main purpose of The Royal Guard is to guard H.M. the Queen at Amalienborg Palace.

Livgarden afmarch kasernenThe Changing of the Guard takes place every day at 12.00 noon. The Guard starts by leaving its barracks at Rosenborg Palace at 11.30 and marches through the city to Amalienborg Palace.

When the Queen is in residence at Amalienborg, the Guard is accompanied by the military band of the Royal Guard. When the Queen is not in residence, the changing of the Guard is without music.
